Jim will manage finance and accounting functions including G/L, A/P, A/R, Payroll, Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting, reporting to the President and Chief Operating Officer. Here is what he had to say about why he accepted this position:

"The job is consistent with my long-term goals to begin developing operating responsibilities. The location allows my family to remain in Chicago, where the children can go to the same schools. The parent company has cash and a plan to expand into the United States. It uses my diversified product knowledge in banking/financial services, and I'm more comfortable in an industry I understand and know best."

In commenting about his ITS campaign and approach, Jim pointed to several of its advantages:

"Just having a plan of attack is important. It means you're not relying on one or two methods to turn up leads. It was also helpful to have an objective professional opinion on how to prioritize time, instead of trying to sort through the inconsistent opinions of articles. Even though we didn't want to relocate, pursuing other opportunities helped maintain my confidence and motivation."
